Almshouses

The Company and/or its Trusts are significant providers of: Social Housing - 61 units; and Nursing/Residential Care - 99 beds.

Indeed, they are probably the largest private providers of such facilities in the Lewisham area.

The Company owns and operates direct or through Trusts (Christopher Boone's Charity and consolidated Almshouse Charity) administered by it, two sets of Almshouses situated in the London Borough of Lewisham providing Warden assisted accommodation for more than one hundred elderly residents.

Working in conjunction with the Ranyard Memorial Trust ("the Ranyard") the Company has facilitated the provision of a 51 bed Nursing/Residential Care Home at Dowe House (Consolidated Charities for the Infirm) in Lewisham, previously a Sheltered Housing complex operated by the Company, and a 48 bed Nursing Home at Mulberry House in Lewisham on a freehold site owned by one of the Company's Trusts, the Christopher Boone's Charity.
