Earlier this month we hosted our first MT panel. A new event suggested by members, we welcomed experts across business and sectors including health and skincare, AI, FinTech and even a Dragon’s Den investor to discuss business in the UK today and what the future may hold with the rise in new technologies and a fast-changing world. It was a great discussion with members sharing their own insights and posing questions to keep panellists on their toes. Thank you to our excellent panel.

Members of our History & Heritage Society were delighted to visit @merchanttaylorsschool last week to celebrate School Archives Day. School Archivist, Isabel, produced fascinating displays showing the development of the School from its origins on Suffolk Lane in 1561, through its years at Charterhouse Square and its ultimate location at Sandy Lodge. Members were delighted to hear from two students, Thomas and Sebastian, who presented their wonderful research on a Cypriot quadriga chariot from the school’s collection of antiquities.
