A Duty to Remember: Holocaust Memorial Day 2021

On Wednesday 27 January 2021, the world remembered those lost to the Holocaust, a genocide during the Second World War of European Jews and minority groups deemed 'undesirable' by the Nazi regime. While Jews were the main target of Nazi racism, Holocaust Memorial Day remembers all those included within the undesirable umbrella term, including but not limited to: Romani gypsies, homosexuals, Black and disabled people.

Anti-semitism, along with all forms of racism and prejudice must be challenged and tackled, but after 2020, a year when Black Lives Matter became mainstream, and
