Congratulations to Wallingford Grammar School on becoming this year's winners in the Merchant Taylors' Company Year 8 Quiz. A fantastic 11 schools took part (with some great team names):

• St John’s School (St John’s Rebels)

• Wallingford School (The Bigg Team)
• Wolverhampton Grammar School (Wulfrunian Wizards)

There were around 40 questions spread over 5 rounds: Alphabet, 54321, AB, Back to School, Up and Down – the last being the one where points could be deducted (for a wrong answer) as well as added. The quiz run by Quiz Quiz Quiz was a lot of fun and all teams achieved great results. Wallingford School achieved 90% correct answers followed by joint 2nd place winners - King’s School Macclesfield and Merchant Taylors’ Boys’ School Crosby.
