Resources for Autism is a frontline charity that offers a practical response to the day-to-day difficulties families with an autistic member may face.

The charity has been running for over 22 years, they are committed to serving the poorest and most vulnerable members of their community. The charity crucially provides provide an outreach service for those in the most desperate need, while they await further, more comprehensive support.

Coronavirus has certainly thrown everyone's lives into disarray, but those on with autistic spectrum struggle particularly with disturbances to a usual routine. Given the souring need for the charity's support, yet the limited resources and stripping of any in-person support, Resources for Autism is struggling to cope and help those who depend on them.

The Merchant Taylors' Foundation is very pleased to be able to support Resources for Autism with a grant through its Coronavirus Appeal. The charity continues to do tremendous work in adapting to the current climate including creating online resources for services users and families, phone calls and digital check-ins and support.
